Catering in Sheen: the local picture

Sheen is two and a half miles from our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF — about twelve minutes with a loaded van — and we cater across SW14 most weeks. The bookings here are neighbourhood ones: birthdays and christenings at Sheen Lane Centre, school and PTA events around Sheen Mount, church hall gatherings at All Saints, and garden parties on the streets running down towards Sheen Common and the Park gate. Plenty of those rooms have no usable kitchen, which is exactly what our managed buffet is built for: we arrive with the tables, covers, copper chafing units, fuel and serving utensils, set the line up, and clear everything away afterwards. If you would rather handle service yourself, a drop-off of ready-to-serve trays at a set time costs less and works just as well. We deliver and serve between 11am and 11pm daily; the restaurant kitchen opens 4pm to 11pm. Bookings on 020 8332 1339.

Everything we cook for Sheen is halal from one supply chain, so a school fundraiser, a christening lunch and a walima can all be catered from the same menu without a second van or a second caterer. Vegetarian and vegan sections are cooked separately and labelled on the buffet, and you receive written allergen information before the event. The kitchen carries a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating. Sheen is inside our ten-mile free-delivery radius, and packages run Bronze £25, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60 per head.

Indian catering near me in Sheen

Sheen is two and a half miles from our kitchen in SW14 — about as close as our catering gets outside Richmond itself, with free delivery and food on the buffet minutes after it leaves the kitchen.

We know the Upper Richmond Road West loading bays and the access at the school and club halls here. We arrive early, unload once, and set the buffet on our own tables out of the way of guests.

Sheen bookings are mostly school hall events, sports and tennis club functions, and family parties at home.

The complete guide to catering in Sheen

Jaflong Catering serves Sheen (SW14) from our Richmond kitchen 2.5 miles away, about twelve minutes, with fully halal Indian and Bangladeshi catering for Richmond Park picnics, garden parties, school events and community centre functions from £25 per head, delivered free.

Twelve minutes to Sheen, delivered free

Sheen is 2.5 miles from 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF — about twelve minutes, and SW14 is comfortably inside the ten-mile radius, so delivery is free.

Being this close is why Sheen street parties and garden bookings work at short notice: the food is not sitting in a van for half an hour, and a missing item is a twelve-minute round trip rather than an apology.

    • Postcode covered: SW14.
    • Areas we know well: Sheen Common, Sheen Lane Centre, Upper Richmond Road West, Sheen Gate.
    • Venues we have catered at or delivered to: Sheen Lane Centre, the Hare & Hounds, Sheen Mount Primary, All Saints Church.

The Sheen events we cater most

Four formats account for most SW14 bookings.

    • Richmond Park picnic catering through Sheen Gate — packed and portioned for outdoors, planned around park gate times.
    • Family garden parties — our own service line in the garden rather than taking over the house kitchen.
    • School events — a per-head budget, mild options for children and written allergen information in advance.
    • Community centre functions — hall service with a fixed clear-down.

    What Sheen tables order

SW14 books most often around Butter Chicken, mild and creamy and safe across all ages, Vegetable Biryani for the vegetarian centre of the table, and the Mixed Kebab Platter of tandoor-grilled meats.

Indian catering menu and prices for a Sheen booking

Bronze at £25 per head from twenty guests is a complete buffet — starters, mains, rice, breads and a vegetarian dish. Silver at £35 widens the mains and is where most party and office bookings land. Gold at £45 brings in the tandoor selection and a fuller vegetarian and vegan spread, which is why it dominates weddings. Platinum at £60 is for events where the food is the centrepiece.

Every tier is priced per head, and every tier is fully halal from a single supply chain, so a mixed guest list never needs two caterers. The full dish list is on our menu page, and the quote builder prices your exact guest count against it.

    Halal, dietary requirements and allergens

Everything leaving our kitchen is halal. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are cooked as their own dishes and served from their own labelled section of the line rather than spooned from the same tray.

Written allergen information is provided before the event, not read out on the day. Our kitchen holds a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency, which is usually what a Sheen school, club, church or civic venue asks to see before letting a caterer through the door.

Getting a price for your Sheen event

The quote builder returns a per-head figure against your guest count, date and venue. If you would rather talk it through, call 020 8332 1339 or WhatsApp 07436 026277 — we are a family business, so you will speak to someone who will be involved in your event. Bookings are confirmed with a 50% deposit, with the 50% balance due before the event.

Sheen catering — Indian caterers for SW14

Sheen is 2.5 miles from our Richmond kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, TW10 7NF — twelve minutes — and SW14 sits inside the free-delivery radius, so the quoted per-head figure is the whole cost.

    Catering in Sheen in detail

Sheen bookings: halls, schools and street-end gardens

Sheen is two and a half miles from our kitchen, about twelve minutes with a loaded van, and it is one of the areas we cover most regularly. The work here is neighbourhood work: birthdays and christenings at Sheen Lane Centre, school and PTA events around Sheen Mount, church hall gatherings at All Saints, and summer garden parties on the roads running down towards Sheen Common and the Park gate.

A lot of those rooms have no usable kitchen, which is exactly what our managed buffet is designed for — we bring the tables, covers, copper chafing units, fuel and serving utensils, set the line, and clear everything away afterwards so you hand the hall back clean.

    • Community and church hall bookings with no on-site kitchen
    • School fundraisers and PTA events with clearly labelled vegetarian and vegan sections
    • Christenings, birthdays and family lunches across SW14
    • Drop-off trays where you would rather serve the food yourselves

Timings, hall rules and dietary needs

Most Sheen halls come with a strict access and clear-down window written into the hire agreement. Tell us those times when you enquire and we will build the schedule around them — arrival, set-up, service and collection — rather than discovering the caretaker's lock-up time on the night.

Everything we cook is halal from a single supply chain, vegetarian and vegan dishes are prepared separately and labelled on the line, and written allergen information goes out before the event. Sheen is well inside our free-delivery radius.

Drop-off and collection buffets in Sheen

Not every party needs staff on site. Most of what we cook for Sheen goes out as a buffet you either collect from our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF, or we drop off ready to serve — dishes hot in foil trays or chafers, breads, rice, salads, sauces and disposables, set out so guests can help themselves. At 2.5 miles and roughly 12 minutes away, drop-off in Sheen is free.

We drop off across SW14. Buffets from our kitchen regularly go out to Sheen Lane Centre, The Hare & Hounds, Sheen Mount Primary and the surrounding streets. Sheen keeps us busiest with richmond park picnic catering and family garden parties, and those are almost always served buffet style.

Two ways to take a buffet

    • Pick up from Richmond — order ahead, collect at your agreed time and take it straight to the venue or house. The cheapest way to feed a crowd, with no delivery fee at any distance.
    • Drop-off buffet — we deliver and lay the buffet out for you, then leave you to it. Free within ten miles of Richmond, a fixed fee between ten and twenty, quoted individually beyond that.
    • Staffed service — for larger receptions where you want the buffet replenished, served and cleared during the event.

Party catering in Sheen, small or large

Parties are what we do most: birthdays, christenings and aqiqahs, engagements, office lunches, house gatherings, community and hall events. An intimate dinner for ten and a hall buffet for three hundred are costed the same way — per head, from our Bronze £25, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60 packages, with the tier deciding how many starters, mains, breads, rice dishes and sides you pick.

    • Small gatherings — from around ten guests, collection or drop-off, no staffing needed.
    • Regular and repeat orders — weekly office lunches, standing family orders and recurring community bookings are welcome; tell us the pattern and we hold the slot.
    • Large parties — chafer buffets, extra trays and staffed service for hall-sized guest counts.
    • Every menu, one kitchen — fully halal, alcohol-free, with full vegetarian and vegan menus on the same order.

We run the same collection and drop-off buffet service either side of Sheen: party catering in Kew, party catering in Strawberry Hill, party catering in Fulwell and party catering in East Sheen.

To arrange a collection or drop-off buffet in Sheen, call 020 8332 1339, WhatsApp 07436 026277 or send us your date and guest numbers. Per-head prices are on our pricing page.
