Catering in Roehampton: the local picture

Roehampton covers SW15, and the part of it we know best is the stretch around Roehampton University, Queen Mary's Hospital and Roehampton Gate (Richmond Park). It is 4.5 miles from our kitchen door on Ashburnham Road, roughly 20 minutes with a loaded van, which is why we can time a departure to your service hour rather than to a delivery slot. Most of what we cook for Roehampton goes to university functions and sports club celebrations, often at University of Roehampton and Roehampton Club.

For Muslim weddings, walimas, Eid gatherings and mixed-faith events in Roehampton, everything we serve is halal and sourced through a single chain, which removes any cross-contamination question at the buffet line. Vegetarian and vegan sections are cooked and served separately with clear labels, and written allergen information is issued before the day. The kitchen carries a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating. Delivery to Roehampton is free — it is inside our ten-mile radius. Bronze is £25 per head, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60.

The complete guide to catering in Roehampton

Jaflong Catering serves Roehampton (SW15) from our Richmond kitchen 4.5 miles away, about twenty minutes, with fully halal Indian and Bangladeshi catering for university functions, club celebrations and NHS staff events from £25 per head, delivered free.

Twenty minutes to Roehampton, delivered free

Roehampton is 4.5 miles from 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF — about twenty minutes, most of it through Richmond Park when the gates are open. SW15 is inside the ten-mile radius, so delivery is free.

Park gate closing times are a real scheduling factor here, not a detail. We plan the route to Roehampton Gate around them, which is the difference between food arriving hot and food arriving via a long detour.

    • Postcode covered: SW15.
    • Areas we know well: Roehampton University, Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton Gate.
    • Venues we have catered at or delivered to: University of Roehampton, Roehampton Club, Downshire House.

The Roehampton events we cater most

Four formats account for most SW15 bookings on this side.

    • University functions — a diverse guest list, so halal, vegetarian and vegan all have to be genuinely covered rather than tokenised.
    • Sports club celebrations — a large, hungry crowd and a hard bar-close finish.
    • NHS staff events at Queen Mary's — shift-friendly service, so food holds through arrivals spread over an hour or more.
    • Community gatherings — per-head budgets agreed in advance, with the mains kept intact.

    What Roehampton tables order

SW15 books most often around Chicken Korma, mild and creamy and safe across a mixed group, Chana Masala, the spiced chickpea dish that carries the vegan line, and Lamb Biryani, rich slow-cooked lamb layered through the rice.

Indian catering menu and prices for a Roehampton booking

Bronze at £25 per head from twenty guests is a complete buffet — starters, mains, rice, breads and a vegetarian dish. Silver at £35 widens the mains and is where most party and office bookings land. Gold at £45 brings in the tandoor selection and a fuller vegetarian and vegan spread, which is why it dominates weddings. Platinum at £60 is for events where the food is the centrepiece.

Every tier is priced per head, and every tier is fully halal from a single supply chain, so a mixed guest list never needs two caterers. The full dish list is on our menu page, and the quote builder prices your exact guest count against it.

    Halal, dietary requirements and allergens

Everything leaving our kitchen is halal. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are cooked as their own dishes and served from their own labelled section of the line rather than spooned from the same tray.

Written allergen information is provided before the event, not read out on the day. Our kitchen holds a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency, which is usually what a Roehampton school, club, church or civic venue asks to see before letting a caterer through the door.

Getting a price for your Roehampton event

The quote builder returns a per-head figure against your guest count, date and venue. If you would rather talk it through, call 020 8332 1339 or WhatsApp 07436 026277 — we are a family business, so you will speak to someone who will be involved in your event. Bookings are confirmed with a 50% deposit, with the 50% balance due before the event.

Roehampton catering — Indian caterers for SW15

Roehampton is 4.5 miles from our Richmond kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, TW10 7NF — twenty minutes — and SW15 sits inside the free-delivery radius, so the quoted per-head figure is the whole cost.

Drop-off and collection buffets in Roehampton

Not every party needs staff on site. Most of what we cook for Roehampton goes out as a buffet you either collect from our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF, or we drop off ready to serve — dishes hot in foil trays or chafers, breads, rice, salads, sauces and disposables, set out so guests can help themselves. At 4.5 miles and roughly 20 minutes away, drop-off in Roehampton is free.

We drop off across SW15. Buffets from our kitchen regularly go out to University of Roehampton, Roehampton Club, Downshire House and the surrounding streets. Roehampton keeps us busiest with university functions and sports club celebrations, and those are almost always served buffet style.

Two ways to take a buffet

    • Pick up from Richmond — order ahead, collect at your agreed time and take it straight to the venue or house. The cheapest way to feed a crowd, with no delivery fee at any distance.
    • Drop-off buffet — we deliver and lay the buffet out for you, then leave you to it. Free within ten miles of Richmond, a fixed fee between ten and twenty, quoted individually beyond that.
    • Staffed service — for larger receptions where you want the buffet replenished, served and cleared during the event.

Party catering in Roehampton, small or large

Parties are what we do most: birthdays, christenings and aqiqahs, engagements, office lunches, house gatherings, community and hall events. An intimate dinner for ten and a hall buffet for three hundred are costed the same way — per head, from our Bronze £25, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60 packages, with the tier deciding how many starters, mains, breads, rice dishes and sides you pick.

    • Small gatherings — from around ten guests, collection or drop-off, no staffing needed.
    • Regular and repeat orders — weekly office lunches, standing family orders and recurring community bookings are welcome; tell us the pattern and we hold the slot.
    • Large parties — chafer buffets, extra trays and staffed service for hall-sized guest counts.
    • Every menu, one kitchen — fully halal, alcohol-free, with full vegetarian and vegan menus on the same order.

We run the same collection and drop-off buffet service either side of Roehampton: party catering in Hampton, party catering in Norbiton, party catering in Isleworth and party catering in Kingston Hill.
