Catering in Petersham: the local picture

Petersham is 1.2 miles from our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road in Richmond, about 6 minutes door to door, and we deliver across TW10. Around Petersham Meadows, Petersham Nurseries and St Peter's Church we are usually catering intimate garden weddings and nurseries private dining, with Petersham Nurseries Café and The Dysart Petersham among the venues we have worked in. Because we cook locally rather than trucking food across London, the buffet you see at your event is the buffet that left the pass.

Everything we cook for Petersham is halal, from one supply chain, so a mixed guest list never needs two caterers or two vans. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are cooked separately and served from their own labelled section of the line. Our kitchen holds a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency and we send written allergen information before the event. Delivery to Petersham is free — it is inside our ten-mile radius. Packages run from Bronze at £25 per head to Platinum at £60.

Indian catering near me in Petersham

Petersham is just over a mile from our kitchen, so a TW10 search for Indian catering near you gets the shortest run we do — nothing sits in a hot box, and delivery is free inside the radius.

Petersham venues mean narrow lanes, gated drives and marquee set-ups on lawns. We confirm access and a turning point before the day, unload once and keep the buffet tidy and out of guest flow.

In Petersham we mostly cater private garden parties and marquee receptions, anniversary dinners at home, and small drinks receptions along Petersham Road.

The complete guide to catering in Petersham

Jaflong Catering serves Petersham (TW10) from a kitchen 1.2 miles away on Ashburnham Road — about six minutes — with fully halal Indian and Bangladeshi catering for garden weddings, private dining and church lunches from £25 per head.

Six minutes from the Petersham meadows

Petersham is one of the closest places we cater. Our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF is 1.2 miles away, roughly a six-minute run, and Petersham shares our own TW10 postcode. For an outdoor event that distance is the whole argument: curries go from pass to chafer without a long hold, and if a marquee brief changes on the morning we can act on it rather than apologise for it.

Delivery to Petersham is free — you are well inside our ten-mile radius — and we plan departure against your service time rather than a fixed schedule.

    • Postcode covered: TW10.
    • Areas we know well: Petersham Meadows, Petersham Nurseries, St Peter's Church.
    • Venues we have catered at or delivered to: Petersham Nurseries Café, The Dysart Petersham, Petersham Hotel.

The Petersham events we cater most

Petersham bookings skew small, outdoor and detail-led rather than high-volume. Three formats cover almost all of them.

    • Intimate garden weddings — usually a marquee or open lawn on grass, with limited vehicle access. Tell us where the van can stop and how far the food has to be carried; both are workable when we know in advance.
    • Private dining at the nurseries and nearby venues — smaller counts, plated presentation expectations, and a service window that has to be held precisely.
    • Church celebration lunches around St Peter's — mixed ages, mild and hot dishes side by side, and a hall with limited kitchen facilities, which is what drop-off with chafers is for.

    What Petersham tables order

The dishes Petersham books most are King Prawn Masala (succulent prawns in a rich tomato-based curry), Vegetable Jalfrezi (fresh seasonal vegetables in a tangy stir-fry) and Chicken Tikka Masala. For a garden wedding on the meadows that trio, with a vegetarian section of its own, covers a mixed guest list without anyone feeling catered around.

Choosing a package for a Petersham booking

Bronze at £25 per head from twenty guests is a complete curry buffet — two mains plus rice or bread. Silver at £35 adds a starter and a vegetarian main and is where most party and office bookings land. Gold at £45 brings in the tandoor selection and a fuller vegetarian and vegan spread, which is why it dominates weddings. Platinum at £60 is for events where the food is the centrepiece.

Every tier is priced per head and every tier is fully halal from a single supply chain, so a mixed guest list never needs two caterers.

    Halal, dietary requirements and allergens

Everything leaving our kitchen is halal. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are cooked as their own dishes and served from their own labelled section of the line rather than spooned from the same tray.

Written allergen information is provided before the event, not read out on the day. Our kitchen holds a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency, which is usually what a Petersham school, church or civic venue asks to see before letting a caterer through the door.

Getting a price for your Petersham event

The quote builder returns a per-head figure against your guest count, date and venue, with free delivery. If you would rather talk it through, call 020 8332 1339 or WhatsApp 07436 026277 — we are a family business, so you will speak to someone who will be involved in your event.

Great River Race, Saturday 12 September 2026

Boat race and crew catering in Petersham

Petersham Meadows and the river path sit between Richmond Bridge and the Ham finish — a quieter place to watch the boats come upriver, and a short run for delivery.

On race weekend we deliver hot food to crews and support teams, run crew buffets from £25 per head, arrange collection from the Richmond kitchen by prior agreement, and serve dine-in and takeaway from 4pm once the boats are off the water.

Drop-off and collection buffets in Petersham

Not every party needs staff on site. Most of what we cook for Petersham goes out as a buffet you either collect from our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF, or we drop off ready to serve — dishes hot in foil trays or chafers, breads, rice, salads, sauces and disposables, set out so guests can help themselves. At 1.2 miles and roughly 6 minutes away, drop-off in Petersham is free.

We drop off across TW10. Buffets from our kitchen regularly go out to Petersham Nurseries Café, The Dysart Petersham, Petersham Hotel and the surrounding streets. Petersham keeps us busiest with intimate garden weddings and nurseries private dining, and those are almost always served buffet style.

Two ways to take a buffet

    • Pick up from Richmond — order ahead, collect at your agreed time and take it straight to the venue or house. The cheapest way to feed a crowd, with no delivery fee at any distance.
    • Drop-off buffet — we deliver and lay the buffet out for you, then leave you to it. Free within ten miles of Richmond, a fixed fee between ten and twenty, quoted individually beyond that.
    • Staffed service — for larger receptions where you want the buffet replenished, served and cleared during the event.

Party catering in Petersham, small or large

Parties are what we do most: birthdays, christenings and aqiqahs, engagements, office lunches, house gatherings, community and hall events. An intimate dinner for ten and a hall buffet for three hundred are costed the same way — per head, from our Bronze £25, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60 packages, with the tier deciding how many starters, mains, breads, rice dishes and sides you pick.

    • Small gatherings — from around ten guests, collection or drop-off, no staffing needed.
    • Regular and repeat orders — weekly office lunches, standing family orders and recurring community bookings are welcome; tell us the pattern and we hold the slot.
    • Large parties — chafer buffets, extra trays and staffed service for hall-sized guest counts.
    • Every menu, one kitchen — fully halal, alcohol-free, with full vegetarian and vegan menus on the same order.

We run the same collection and drop-off buffet service either side of Petersham: party catering in Ham, party catering in Twickenham, party catering in Twickenham Green and party catering in Richmond.
