Great River Race Catering — Town by Town Along the Course
Twenty-one and a half miles of river, sixteen towns we deliver to — pick yours and we will plan the food around the tide.
The Great River Race runs 21.6 miles up the tideway from Millwall to Ham, passing under 28 bridges with around 300 crews on the water. Race day 2026 falls on Saturday 12 September, with the first crews away from 12.45 BST.
That course passes straight through our delivery area. Whether you are a crew wanting a hot meal at the end, a club feeding supporters at a pontoon, or a family hosting a viewing party in a riverside garden, we cook from our Richmond kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, TW10 7NF — minutes from the last miles of the course.

What We Offer
Every town on the course
Sixteen of the towns the race passes sit inside our normal delivery area. Each has its own catering page with postcodes, drive time from the kitchen and local detail.
Crews, clubs and spectators need different things
- Crews want volume and warmth after several hours on the water: rice, curry, bread, something hot within reach of the boat park.
- Clubs and support teams usually feed a mixed crowd across a long window, which suits a managed buffet with chafing units rather than a single delivery.
- Spectators and garden parties along the last miles tend to book a drop-off timed to when the leading crews come past.
Race-day logistics
Riverside roads get busy and some access points are restricted on race day. We agree an arrival window in writing when you book, confirm the loading point, and build in time for the approach. Food is temperature-checked on arrival, and every tray is labelled with its spice level and allergens.
