The local fairs, festivals and community days Jaflong is working to in Richmond, Kingston and south west London — with the dates we can stand behind.
This page exists so organisers, PTAs and committees can see what we are already committed to before they contact us about catering for a village fair or a school event. Dates go on this list once the organiser has announced them or we hold them in writing — nothing here is a guess.
If your event is not listed, that usually just means we have not been asked yet. Send us the date and we will tell you straight away whether the kitchen is free.

Gates from 1:45pm. Live music, food stalls, family activities and refill water stations. The event is cashless. Jaflong served as a food partner at the 2025 festival and has been invited back for 2026.

River Thames, Millwall to Ham — 21.6 miles, finishing at Ham
Around 300 crews start from 12:45 BST and pass 28 bridges on the flood tide. Crew, support-team and spectator catering is delivered hot from our Richmond kitchen; collection can be arranged in advance.

Ham Common, Upper Ham Road, Richmond TW10 7JU
A free traditional village fair held on the second Saturday in June, with over 140 stalls, live bands, local school performances, a dog show, children's rides, vintage vehicles and a long row of food stalls. Jaflong is a long-standing Ham Fair food stallholder. The 2026 fair was held on Saturday 13 June 2026.

Barnes Green, Barnes, London SW13 0LF
South west London's largest community fair, organised by the Barnes Community Association with around 300 stalls, live music on the bandstand, a vintage funfair and a food and drink zone along Church Road. Free entry. The 2026 fair ran on Saturday 11 July, 9.30am to 5.30pm. Jaflong is not a past Barnes Fair stallholder — we deliver catering across Barnes on fair weekend and are open to a pitch if the committee wants an Indian food stall.

Udney Hall Gardens, Langham Road, Teddington TW11 9HQ
A free charity fair organised by the Rotary Club of Teddington & The Hamptons with the Teddington Society and St Mary with St Alban Church: community stalls, music and dance, homemade teas in the parish hall, food from local businesses and the pram race finish. The 2026 fair was Sunday 5 July, 12pm to 5.30pm. Jaflong is not a past stallholder there — we cater across Teddington on fair weekend and are open to a pitch.

Whichever slot yours falls in, the organiser page sets out what we bring, what we do not do and how the commercial side works. School committees may also want the school and PTA catering page or the community partnerships hub.
Pick the date you are organising for, or choose "another event" and type your own date. Your request lands in our sales inbox with a reference number and you will get an email confirming what we have recorded. Every booking needs a catering budget behind it — we do not provide donated food or free stalls.
Tell us your date, guest numbers and the tier you have in mind — we'll come back with exact per-head pricing, usually the same working day.
Because we only publish a date once the organiser has announced it or we hold it in writing. Guessing a fair date and getting it wrong wastes an organiser's time and our own, so an event stays in the unconfirmed list until we can stand behind the date.
Yes, if we are catering it or have agreed a pitch. Send us the event name, date, venue and expected attendance through the organiser request form and we will confirm availability first, then list it here with a link back to your own event page.
Summer fetes and family days are usually settled between January and April for a June or July date; Christmas fairs tend to be confirmed in September and October. Saturday dates in June and July go first, so the earlier you ask the better.
Only where the timings and locations genuinely allow it, and we will say so plainly rather than stretch the kitchen. If a date is already committed we will tell you at the first enquiry instead of leaving you waiting.
As much as you can give for a summer Saturday. Smaller community events and indoor school evenings can sometimes be taken at a few weeks' notice — it is always worth a call on 020 8332 1339.
