Event catering in Ham — for organisers, committees and sponsors

Our kitchen is in Ham's own postcode. A staffed Indian food stall or hot delivery, on site in minutes rather than hours.

Ham is our home ground. The kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road sits inside TW10, a few minutes from Ham Common, Ham Street and the riverside path, so an event here gets the shortest run we do: food leaves hot and arrives hot, and a mid-afternoon top-up is a genuine possibility rather than a promise we cannot keep.

That matters most to the people running the day. Ham's events are largely volunteer-run — the fair committee, the church hall, the sports clubs on the common, the residents' association. They need a food partner who answers the phone, turns up when they said, labels the allergens properly and clears the pitch afterwards.

We are a long-standing Ham Fair food stallholder, and that is the only Ham event we claim. For everything else, this page is an invitation: tell us the date and we will tell you straight away whether we can be there.

    Where events happen in Ham

Public spaces and venues we deliver to in Richmond upon Thames (TW10). Naming a place here is not a claim of partnership — the organiser holds the booking and any permissions.

    Ham Common

The open green off Upper Ham Road where the village fair and outdoor community days are held.

Ham Village Green and Ham Parade

Small-scale street and shop-front events, with the 65 and 371 bus routes running past.

    Ham House grounds (National Trust)

A landmark venue for private hires — organisers arrange permission directly with the Trust.

    Ham Riverside and the towpath

Great River Race finish area and towpath gatherings, with limited vehicle access.

Local halls, clubs and school spaces

Indoor evening events, quiz nights, AGMs and PTA fundraisers across TW10.

Getting food to you in Ham

    • Under ten minutes from our kitchen — comfortably inside the free delivery radius, with no delivery fee.
    • Common and towpath pitches usually mean a short trolley from the nearest vehicle access; tell us the drop point and we plan the load in advance.
    • Hot holding in chafing units, so timings can flex if your programme runs late.
    • Restocking mid-event is realistic in Ham because of the distance — we will say honestly whether your timings allow it.

    Who books us here

    • Village fair and community day committees
    • Sports, rowing and boules clubs on and around the Common
    • Churches, halls and residents' associations
    • School and PTA fundraisers
    • Sponsors looking for a local food partner to co-brand a day with

    How the money works

Every booking is a paid booking. We do not provide donated food, free stalls or sponsorship in kind, including for charity and not-for-profit events — the overheads are the same whoever the day is for. There are three ways we trade, and whichever it is goes in writing before the date is held:

    • • A flat catering fee, quoted against your menu and numbers.
    • • A guaranteed minimum spend, underwritten by the organiser.
    • • A pitch fee plus a share of takings.

Cross-promotion sits alongside a paid booking, never instead of one: we will promote your event to our website, social channels and mailing list, and we are glad to co-brand signage where it suits both sides. Staffed stall rates and the deposit are set out on our event and fair catering rates page.

    Ham organiser questions

How quickly can you get food to an event in Ham?

Our kitchen is in TW10, minutes from Ham Common, so it is the shortest delivery we do. Delivery is free and mid-event restocking is often genuinely possible here — we will tell you honestly whether your timings allow it.

Do you already trade at events in Ham?

We are a long-standing Ham Fair food stallholder. That is the only Ham event we claim; we do not list events we have not actually worked.

Can you cook on site at Ham Common?

No. Everything is cooked at our Richmond kitchen and brought hot in chafing units. We do not use gas, open flame or a tandoor on a pitch, which also makes the permissions side simpler for the organiser.
