Catering in Strawberry Hill: the local picture

Strawberry Hill is 2.5 miles from our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road in Richmond, about 12 minutes door to door, and we deliver across TW1 and TW2. Around Strawberry Hill House, St Mary's University and Radnor Gardens we are usually catering gothic revival house events and university functions, with Strawberry Hill House and St Mary's University among the venues we have worked in. Because we cook locally rather than trucking food across London, the buffet you see at your event is the buffet that left the pass.

For Muslim weddings, walimas, Eid gatherings and mixed-faith events in Strawberry Hill, everything we serve is halal and sourced through a single chain, which removes any cross-contamination question at the buffet line. Vegetarian and vegan sections are cooked and served separately with clear labels, and written allergen information is issued before the day. The kitchen carries a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating. Delivery to Strawberry Hill is free — it is inside our ten-mile radius. Bronze is £25 per head, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60.

Indian catering near me in Strawberry Hill

Strawberry Hill sits across TW1 and TW2, two and a half miles from our kitchen and well inside the free delivery radius — no travel charge on top of the per-head price.

Residential streets here need a planned arrival: we unload once, carry in, and lay the buffet on our own covered tables away from where guests gather. Everything is cooked in our Richmond kitchen and held hot in chafing units — we do not cook on site.

Strawberry Hill bookings are typically house parties and anniversaries, college and school events, and small wedding receptions in local halls.

The complete guide to catering in Strawberry Hill

Jaflong Catering serves Strawberry Hill (TW1, TW2) from our Richmond kitchen 2.5 miles away, about twelve minutes, with fully halal Indian and Bangladeshi catering for Strawberry Hill House events, St Mary's University functions and academic dinners from £25 per head, delivered free.

Twelve minutes to Strawberry Hill, delivered free

Strawberry Hill covers TW1 and TW2 and sits 2.5 miles from 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF — about twelve minutes with the van loaded. That is well inside the ten-mile radius, so delivery is free and the per-head figure you are quoted is the figure you pay.

A short run matters at a heritage house and a university campus, because both give you a fixed access window rather than a flexible one. We set up inside the slot we are given, and hold food in copper chafers so a lecture or a speech running long does not cost you the service.

    • Postcodes covered: TW1 and TW2.
    • Areas we know well: Strawberry Hill House, St Mary's University, Radnor Gardens.
    • Venues we have catered at or delivered to: Strawberry Hill House, St Mary's University, Pope's Grotto.

The Strawberry Hill events we cater most

Three formats account for most TW1 and TW2 bookings here, and each wants a different service style.

    • Gothic revival house events at Strawberry Hill House — a protected interior, strict access timings and a set-up that has to be clean, contained and quick to clear.
    • University functions and graduation dinners at St Mary's — high headcount, a hard finish time and a guest list that always needs a properly separate vegetarian and vegan line.
    • Academic conferences — daytime service around a session timetable, so food goes out in defined breaks rather than in one push.

    What Strawberry Hill tables order

TW1 and TW2 book most often around Murgh Malai — creamy chicken in a nut-free coconut and cream sauce, which is useful when a conference guest list has nut allergies on it — Chana Masala, spiced chickpeas that carry the vegan side of the line, and Lamb Shashlik, skewered lamb with peppers and onions.

Indian catering menu and prices for a Strawberry Hill booking

Bronze at £25 per head from twenty guests is a complete curry buffet — two mains plus rice or bread. Silver at £35 adds a starter and a vegetarian main and is where most party and office bookings land. Gold at £45 brings in the tandoor selection and a fuller vegetarian and vegan spread, which is why it dominates weddings. Platinum at £60 is for events where the food is the centrepiece.

Every tier is priced per head, and every tier is fully halal from a single supply chain, so a mixed guest list never needs two caterers. The full dish list is on our menu page, and the quote builder prices your exact guest count against it.

    Halal, dietary requirements and allergens

Everything leaving our kitchen is halal. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are cooked as their own dishes and served from their own labelled section of the line rather than spooned from the same tray.

Written allergen information is provided before the event, not read out on the day. Our kitchen holds a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency, which is usually what a Strawberry Hill school, club, church or civic venue asks to see before letting a caterer through the door.

Getting a price for your Strawberry Hill event

The quote builder returns a per-head figure against your guest count, date and venue, with free delivery. If you would rather talk it through, call 020 8332 1339 or WhatsApp 07436 026277 — we are a family business, so you will speak to someone who will be involved in your event. Bookings are confirmed with a 50% deposit, with the 50% balance due before the event.

Strawberry Hill catering — Indian caterers for TW1 and TW2

Strawberry Hill is 2.5 miles from our Richmond kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, TW10 7NF — twelve minutes — and both TW1 and TW2 sit inside the free-delivery radius, so the quoted per-head figure is the whole cost.

Drop-off and collection buffets in Strawberry Hill

Not every party needs staff on site. Most of what we cook for Strawberry Hill goes out as a buffet you either collect from our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF, or we drop off ready to serve — dishes hot in foil trays or chafers, breads, rice, salads, sauces and disposables, set out so guests can help themselves. At 2.5 miles and roughly 12 minutes away, drop-off in Strawberry Hill is free.

We drop off across TW1 and TW2. Buffets from our kitchen regularly go out to Strawberry Hill House, St Mary's University, Pope's Grotto and the surrounding streets. Strawberry Hill keeps us busiest with gothic revival house events and university functions, and those are almost always served buffet style.

Two ways to take a buffet

    • Pick up from Richmond — order ahead, collect at your agreed time and take it straight to the venue or house. The cheapest way to feed a crowd, with no delivery fee at any distance.
    • Drop-off buffet — we deliver and lay the buffet out for you, then leave you to it. Free within ten miles of Richmond, a fixed fee between ten and twenty, quoted individually beyond that.
    • Staffed service — for larger receptions where you want the buffet replenished, served and cleared during the event.

Party catering in Strawberry Hill, small or large

Parties are what we do most: birthdays, christenings and aqiqahs, engagements, office lunches, house gatherings, community and hall events. An intimate dinner for ten and a hall buffet for three hundred are costed the same way — per head, from our Bronze £25, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60 packages, with the tier deciding how many starters, mains, breads, rice dishes and sides you pick.

    • Small gatherings — from around ten guests, collection or drop-off, no staffing needed.
    • Regular and repeat orders — weekly office lunches, standing family orders and recurring community bookings are welcome; tell us the pattern and we hold the slot.
    • Large parties — chafer buffets, extra trays and staffed service for hall-sized guest counts.
    • Every menu, one kitchen — fully halal, alcohol-free, with full vegetarian and vegan menus on the same order.

We run the same collection and drop-off buffet service either side of Strawberry Hill: party catering in Kew, party catering in Sheen, party catering in Fulwell and party catering in East Sheen.
