Catering in Hampton Court: the local picture

Hampton Court is 5 miles from our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road in Richmond, about 22 minutes door to door, and we deliver across KT8. Around Hampton Court Palace, Hampton Court Gardens and The Maze we are usually catering palace-adjacent grand weddings and heritage site celebrations, with Hampton Court Palace Banqueting House and The Mitre Hotel among the venues we have worked in. Because we cook locally rather than trucking food across London, the buffet you see at your event is the buffet that left the pass.

Halal is not an add-on here: there is no second, non-halal supply chain in our kitchen, so every dish going to Hampton Court — buffet, drop-off or live stall — is halal by default. Vegan and vegetarian menus are prepared as their own dishes, not as leftovers from the meat trays, and are labelled on the line. Allergen details come to you in writing beforehand, and the kitchen is FSA 5-star rated. Delivery to Hampton Court is free — it is inside our ten-mile radius, with per-head pricing from £25 to £60.

The complete guide to catering in Hampton Court

Jaflong Catering serves Hampton Court (KT8) from our Richmond kitchen 5 miles away, about twenty-two minutes, with fully halal Indian and Bangladeshi catering for palace-adjacent weddings, heritage celebrations and corporate away days from £25 per head, delivered free.

Twenty-two minutes to Hampton Court, delivered free

Hampton Court is 5 miles from 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF — about twenty-two minutes. KT8 is inside the ten-mile radius, so delivery is free and the quoted per-head figure covers the job.

Heritage settings come with the strictest rules we work under: timed access, protected surfaces, controlled routes in and out, and a clear-down that has to leave no trace. We plan the set-up and the strike before the menu is agreed.

    • Postcode covered: KT8.
    • Areas we know well: Hampton Court Palace, the Gardens, the Maze, Hampton Court Bridge.
    • Venues we have catered at or delivered to: the Banqueting House at Hampton Court Palace, the Mitre Hotel and nearby marquee sites.

The Hampton Court events we cater most

Four formats account for most bookings around the palace.

    • Palace-adjacent grand weddings — a long service window, a formal standard and a fully separate vegetarian and vegan line.
    • Heritage site celebrations — access rules first, menu second.
    • Tourist group catering — a fixed headcount arriving on a coach schedule.
    • Corporate away days — daytime service around a programme rather than one sitting.

    What Hampton Court tables order

KT8 bookings here lean towards Lamb Shank Nihari, slow-braised in a spiced broth, the Tandoori Mixed Grill for the standing receptions, and saffron rice with premium basmati.

Indian catering menu and prices for a Hampton Court booking

Bronze at £25 per head from twenty guests is a complete buffet — starters, mains, rice, breads and a vegetarian dish. Silver at £35 widens the mains and is where most party and office bookings land. Gold at £45 brings in the tandoor selection and a fuller vegetarian and vegan spread, which is why it dominates weddings. Platinum at £60 is for events where the food is the centrepiece.

Every tier is priced per head, and every tier is fully halal from a single supply chain, so a mixed guest list never needs two caterers. The full dish list is on our menu page, and the quote builder prices your exact guest count against it.

    Halal, dietary requirements and allergens

Everything leaving our kitchen is halal. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are cooked as their own dishes and served from their own labelled section of the line rather than spooned from the same tray.

Written allergen information is provided before the event, not read out on the day. Our kitchen holds a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency, which is usually what a Hampton Court school, club, church or civic venue asks to see before letting a caterer through the door.

Getting a price for your Hampton Court event

The quote builder returns a per-head figure against your guest count, date and venue. If you would rather talk it through, call 020 8332 1339 or WhatsApp 07436 026277 — we are a family business, so you will speak to someone who will be involved in your event. Bookings are confirmed with a 50% deposit, with the 50% balance due before the event.

Drop-off and collection buffets in Hampton Court

Not every party needs staff on site. Most of what we cook for Hampton Court goes out as a buffet you either collect from our kitchen at 16 Ashburnham Road, Richmond TW10 7NF, or we drop off ready to serve — dishes hot in foil trays or chafers, breads, rice, salads, sauces and disposables, set out so guests can help themselves. We drop off across KT8. Buffets from our kitchen regularly go out to Hampton Court Palace Banqueting House, The Mitre Hotel, Nearby marquee sites and the surrounding streets. Two ways to take a buffet

    • Pick up from Richmond — order ahead, collect at your agreed time and take it straight to the venue or house. The cheapest way to feed a crowd, with no delivery fee at any distance.
    • Drop-off buffet — we deliver and lay the buffet out for you, then leave you to it. Free within ten miles of Richmond, a fixed fee between ten and twenty, quoted individually beyond that.
    • Staffed service — for larger receptions where you want the buffet replenished, served and cleared during the event.

Party catering in Hampton Court, small or large

Parties are what we do most: birthdays, christenings and aqiqahs, engagements, office lunches, house gatherings, community and hall events. An intimate dinner for ten and a hall buffet for three hundred are costed the same way — per head, from our Bronze £25, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60 packages, with the tier deciding how many starters, mains, breads, rice dishes and sides you pick.

    • Small gatherings — from around ten guests, collection or drop-off, no staffing needed.
    • Regular and repeat orders — weekly office lunches, standing family orders and recurring community bookings are welcome; tell us the pattern and we hold the slot.
    • Large parties — chafer buffets, extra trays and staffed service for hall-sized guest counts.
    • Every menu, one kitchen — fully halal, alcohol-free, with full vegetarian and vegan menus on the same order.

We run the same collection and drop-off buffet service either side of Hampton Court: party catering in Surbiton, party catering in Kingston Vale, party catering in Brentford and party catering in Hampton.
