Teddington Park event catering — sports days, fêtes and fundraisers
The green space and sports ground side of TW11, where the catering has to work outdoors and on volunteer timings.
The Teddington Park and Udney Park side of TW11 is where the town's outdoor events happen: sports fixtures and tournaments, school sports days, summer fêtes on the grass, fundraisers and club gatherings. It is residential, well used and short on parking, so catering here lives or dies on the drop plan.
We cook at our Richmond kitchen a few minutes away and bring everything hot in chafing units. No cooking on site, no gas, no power dependency — a trestle table and a serving line is enough, which is what most grass-pitch events can actually offer.
Timings on these days are never quite what the programme says. Hot holding covers that: the food is ready when the match finishes or the presentations overrun, not at a fixed minute.

- • PTA and parent fundraising groups

How the money works
Every booking is a paid booking. We do not provide donated food, free stalls or sponsorship in kind, including for charity and not-for-profit events — the overheads are the same whoever the day is for. There are three ways we trade, and whichever it is goes in writing before the date is held:
- • A flat catering fee, quoted against your menu and numbers.
- • A guaranteed minimum spend, underwritten by the organiser.
- • A pitch fee plus a share of takings.
Cross-promotion sits alongside a paid booking, never instead of one: we will promote your event to our website, social channels and mailing list, and we are glad to co-brand signage where it suits both sides. Staffed stall rates and the deposit are set out on our event and fair catering rates page.
Teddington Park organiser questions
Can you serve on a grass pitch with no facilities?
Yes. We bring trestle tables, covers, hot-holding units, serving utensils and signage, and take our own rubbish away. No power or water is needed for the food to be served hot.
What if our fixture overruns?
The food is held hot in chafing units, so service can slide with the programme. That is normal at sports events and we plan for it rather than pretending the timetable will hold.
Do you charge for delivery to TW11?
No. This part of Teddington is a few minutes from our kitchen and well inside the free delivery radius.
