Community events run on volunteers, tight budgets and fixed timings. We cater school occasions, PTA fairs, charity fundraisers and organised community events across Richmond upon Thames, and this guide sets out how those bookings usually work.
Food stalls versus buffets
For fairs and outdoor community occasions, a food stall works best: we serve directly to attendees over a set period. For sit-down evenings, awards nights and end-of-term events, a buffet is simpler — either a plain drop-off in service trays or a managed buffet with trestle tables, covers, chafing units, fuel, setup and clear-down.
Budgeting per head
Packages run Bronze £25, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60 per head. Larger guest counts spread preparation, transport and equipment across more covers, so a 200-guest event costs less per head than a 30-guest one. Written quotes list every line separately so a committee can approve the figure properly.
Delivery and collection
We offer both. Delivery is free within 10 miles of our Richmond kitchen at TW10 7NF; beyond that a delivery fee is quoted upfront based on distance. Collection from the kitchen carries no delivery fee, which some committees prefer where a volunteer can drive.
Practicalities for school sites
Tell us about gate access times, safeguarding sign-in, whether power is available and where the serving table will sit. We are an FSA 5-rated kitchen and paperwork can be provided when a school or venue asks for it. Catering delivery and event service run from 11am onwards by prior booking.
Dietary requirements
Vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free dishes can be included. Our kitchen handles multiple allergens, so allergen information is provided on request and we do not claim an allergen-free environment.
