BBQ Catering in London — Halal Indian Grill, Live on Site
An Indian BBQ isn't burgers in marinade — it's live tandoor cooking, seekh kebabs coming off the grill in front of guests, marinated lamb chops, chargrilled paneer, and freshly baked naan. Jaflong Tandoori brings the full setup to your garden, roof terrace, or venue across London, halal by default, with a weather plan and the kit to serve 30 to 300 guests.
Peak season is April to August — book early if you have a specific date.
What "live BBQ" actually means
Two live cooking formats, either standalone or combined with a hot buffet:
- Charcoal grill — seekh kebabs, chicken tikka, lamb chops, chargrilled paneer, tandoori prawns. Cooked to order in front of guests.
- Portable tandoor — for freshly baked naan, tandoori chicken and specialty items. Adds real theatre.
Both come with a chef, prep station, and safety kit. Combine with cold sides, salads, chutneys and a full dessert table for a complete summer service.

Garden BBQ — from £18 per head
Live charcoal grill, three grilled items, two sides, salad, chutneys, naan. Minimum 30 guests.
Signature BBQ — from £28 per head
Grill + portable tandoor, four grilled items, three sides, live naan, dessert. Chef + one server.
Wedding & Premium BBQ — from £42 per head
Full live station setup, five+ grilled items, sit‑down or plated service option, dedicated waiting staff, china crockery.

Meat provenance & halal
All meat is halal-sourced — verified certification available on request. Lamb from named UK suppliers; chicken British‑reared. Fish sourced sustainably.
Kit & site requirements
- Space: 3m × 2m minimum for grill; 3m × 3m if adding tandoor.
- Surface: hard standing preferred; grass with heat mat acceptable.
- Cover: gazebo included if weather uncertain.
- Power: not required for charcoal setup; portable tandoor is self‑contained.
- Water: access to a tap useful but not essential — we bring our own if needed.
Weather contingency
British summer — we plan for it. Every outdoor booking includes a gazebo, and we can pivot to indoor plated service inside two hours if a venue kitchen is available. No cancellation fees if you switch format 24 hours before due to weather.
Dietary coverage
Halal by default. Vegetarian grill items (paneer, veg seekh, chargrilled halloumi, corn), vegan options, GF sides, nut‑free by default. Full allergen matrix per booking.
Coverage area
Richmond, Kingston, Twickenham, Wimbledon, Putney, Hampton, Teddington, Chiswick and across South West / West London as standard. Central and East London by arrangement. Home Counties for 50+ covers.

What's the minimum guest count?
30 for Garden BBQ; 50 for Signature; 80 for Wedding tier.
How much notice?
Four to six weeks in peak season (May–Aug). Two weeks minimum for smaller bookings.
Is the meat definitely halal?
Yes — halal sourcing. Cert available on request.
Can you cook in a small garden?
Yes — 3m × 2m of hard standing is enough for the grill. We'll do a pre‑visit for tight sites.
What if it rains?
Gazebo included. Format can pivot to indoor plated service up to 24 hours before with no fee if venue has kitchen access.
Do you provide staff?
Chef on grill included in every package. Additional serving staff on Signature and Wedding tiers.
