A nikah is usually shorter and more contained than the reception that follows: a ceremony, then a meal for family and close guests, often in a hall or a home, frequently on a weekday or an afternoon slot. Catering has to land on a fixed ceremony time, not drift with the evening. We plan nikah deliveries backwards from the moment the ceremony is expected to end, so food is on the table within minutes of guests sitting down.

A typical nikah menu
Nikah meals tend to be more traditional and less grazing-led than a mehndi. A common shape is a starter plate of samosa and tikka, a lamb or chicken curry, a vegetable curry, biryani or pilau, dal, salad, raita and breads, finished with a sweet. Where the guest list spans generations we usually build in one mild dish alongside the spiced ones so older guests and children are covered without a separate menu.
Halal sourcing
All meat and poultry is halal-sourced from established suppliers with traceable documentation. We hold a 5-star Food Standards Agency hygiene rating. We are not HMC-certified and do not claim to be; supplier halal certificates can be shown before you book. Vegetarian dishes are prepared separately, and our catering kitchen does not use peanuts or tree nuts.
Service, timing and venue
Food is cooked in Richmond and transported hot in chafing units — we do not cook live on site, which makes mosque halls, community centres and homes without a commercial kitchen straightforward. Choose a drop-off buffet where your own family serves, or staffed service where our team sets up, tops up and clears. For a fixed ceremony time we normally arrive 45 to 60 minutes ahead to set up quietly before guests move through.
Delivery is free within ten miles of TW10 7NF; a quoted fee applies from ten to twenty miles. Collection from the Richmond kitchen can be arranged in advance.
Cost per head
Bronze £25, Silver £35, Gold £45 and Platinum £60 per head. Smaller nikah gatherings of 20 to 50 guests often sit comfortably on Bronze or Silver; where the nikah doubles as the main celebration, Gold gives the multi-course structure most families want.

Can you work around a fixed ceremony time?
Yes — tell us when the ceremony ends and we plan delivery and set-up around it rather than around a delivery window.
Do you cater small nikahs?
Yes. Minimum guest numbers apply per package, starting at 20 guests on Bronze.
Can you serve at a mosque hall or community centre?
Yes. Because everything arrives cooked and hot-held, we need only table space and access, not a kitchen.
