Weddings and celebrations in the Hampton Court area
A Hampton Court-area wedding usually falls into one of three formats: a marquee on the lawn of a private riverside house, a hired reception room at one of the boutique hotels along the Thames, or a marquee at a private club. Each has its own service quirks. Riverside marquees typically have no built-in kitchen, so we bring a full mobile prep-line under a service tent behind the marquee. Hotel receptions usually give us access to the pastry kitchen or a plating room, which speeds a three-course plated service considerably.
For a plated wedding we recommend a chicken shorba amuse to start, a paneer or lamb chop starter, a main plate of two curries with saffron pilau and a hot bread, and a dessert of gulab jamun with mango kulfi. Vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free plates are built from the same production line so there is no delay for special diets. Timings are agreed with the couple's toastmaster a week ahead so speeches and food service interlock cleanly.
Garden parties, RHS-week bookings and corporate summer events
The Hampton Court RHS week each July is one of our busiest times of year — private houses along Hampton Court Road host client-entertainment lunches, and the marquee suppliers we work with regularly bring us in to cater private garden receptions. For these events we typically run a food-stall setup: a live tandoor-style finisher, a wok station and a plated canapé tray for arrival drinks. It works well in warm weather because guests can graze rather than sit down to a heavy meal in the heat.
For corporate summer parties in the area — company away-days, product launches, milestone anniversaries — we offer a fixed-price per-head package that covers arrival canapés, a two-main buffet, a chaat station and a dessert selection. Free delivery does not apply to Hampton Court addresses because they sit outside our ten-mile free zone, but the flat delivery fee is quoted in writing up front with no per-mile add-ons.
